1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the website and services of Kardong Kidlat Tattoo ("we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Age Requirement

You must be at least 18 years of age to book or receive tattoo services. This is a strict requirement under Philippine law. We reserve the right to request valid government-issued ID to verify your age before any service is performed. Bookings made by or for minors will be cancelled immediately.

3. Booking & Appointments

• All bookings are subject to availability and artist confirmation
• A booking is only confirmed upon receipt of our confirmation message
• We reserve the right to refuse service at our discretion
• Walk-ins are welcome but appointments are given priority
• Please arrive on time — late arrivals of more than 30 minutes may result in cancellation

4. Cancellations & Rescheduling

• Please notify us at least 48 hours in advance if you need to cancel or reschedule
• Repeated no-shows or last-minute cancellations may result in being required to pay a deposit for future bookings
• Deposits, if collected, are non-refundable but may be transferred to a rescheduled appointment

5. Health & Safety

For your safety and the safety of our artists, you agree to:

• Disclose any medical conditions, allergies, or medications that may affect tattooing
• Not be under the influence of alcohol or drugs during your appointment
• Inform us if you are pregnant or breastfeeding
• Follow all aftercare instructions provided by your artist

We comply with all sanitation and health requirements under the Code on Sanitation of the Philippines (P.D. 856). All equipment is sterilized and single-use needles are used for every client.

6. Health Risks Disclosure

As required by Philippine law, we inform you that tattooing carries certain health risks including but not limited to: infection, allergic reactions to ink, scarring, and potential interference with MRI readings. By booking our services, you acknowledge that you have been informed of these risks and consent to the procedure.

7. Design & Intellectual Property

• Custom designs created by our artists remain the intellectual property of Kardong Kidlat Tattoo unless otherwise agreed in writing
• We reserve the right to photograph completed tattoos for portfolio and promotional use
• You may request that your tattoo not be used for promotional purposes
• We do not tattoo designs that infringe on copyrighted material without proper authorization

8. Payment

• Payment is due upon completion of the tattoo session unless a deposit arrangement has been made
• Accepted payment methods will be confirmed at the time of booking
• Prices are subject to change without prior notice
• Touch-ups within a reasonable period are offered at the discretion of the artist

9. Limitation of Liability

Kardong Kidlat Tattoo shall not be liable for any adverse reactions, complications, or dissatisfaction arising from failure to follow aftercare instructions, undisclosed medical conditions, or normal healing variations. Our liability is limited to the cost of the tattoo service provided.

10. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any disputes shall be resolved under the jurisdiction of the appropriate Philippine courts.
